It was a blockbuster beginning to the 2018 NFL Preseason as three Tech alums registered interceptions. S Chuck Clark got the party started for the Ravens in the Hall of Fame Game, while CB Kyle Fuller got a pick six for the Bears in Cincinnati and rookie CB Brandon Facyson completed the hat trick for the Chargers at Arizona.
Tech alums on the Steelers and Redskins all played on Thursday evening, while Friday night's schedule is filled with former Hokies who will get another opportunity to strut their stuff on the preseason stage.
Thursday, August 16
Packers 51, Steelers 34
S Terrell Edmunds, TE Bucky Hodges and the Pittsburgh Steelers fell to the Green Bay Packers. Edmunds had a great night tallying three tackles, along with forcing and recovering a fumble on special teams. Hodges did not record any stats on the evening. TE Ryan Malleck is also a member of the Steelers, but he is currently on the injured reserve.

Redskins 15, N.Y. Jets 13
CB Greg Stroman, CB Adonis Alexander, LB Dadi Nicolas, DT Tim Settle and the Washington Redskins defeated the N.Y. Jets. Stroman finished the game with three tackles, while Settle tallied one tackle and one pass deflection. Alexander and Nicolas did not record stats on the evening.

QB Tyrod Taylor and the Cleveland Browns take on LB Tremaine Edmunds, TE Logan Thomas, WR Cam Phillips, G Wyatt Teller, FB Sam Rogers and the Buffalo Bills. Taylor completed all five of his passes for 99 yards and one touchdown in last week's win. Edmund finished last week with one tackle, while Thomas caught one pass for two yards. Rogers was signed earlier this week.
Tremaine Edmunds was named Buffalo's most impressive rookie in the Bills' annual training camp awards passed out by Chris Brown.

Kansas City at Atlanta – 8:00 pm ET
CB Kendall Fuller and the Kansas City Chiefs travel to Atlanta to face the Falcons. Fuller tallied one tackle and one pass deflection in last week's contest.
Miami at Carolina – 7:30 pm ET
WR Isaiah Ford and the Miami Dolphins face the Carolina Panthers. Ford caught two passes for 22 yards last week, including a six-yard touchdown that was followed by a two-point conversion reception that at the time gave the Dolphins a one-point lead late in the fourth quarter before the Bucs got the go-ahead score.
Arizona at New Orleans – 8:00 pm ET
RB Trey Edmunds and the New Orleans Saints host the Arizona Cardinals. Edmunds finished with one carry for one yard in last week's contest.

LB Andrew Motuapuaka and the Jacksonville jaguars travel to Minnesota to face the Vikings. Motuapuaka had a great game last week. He was second on the team in total tackles with four and also had one sack on the day.
Seattle at L.A. Chargers – 10:00 pm ET
T Duane Brown and the Seattle Seahawks take on CB Brandon Facyson and the L.A. Chargers. Facyson had an interception in last week's game against the Cardinals. Brown is entering his second season with the Seahawks after being traded to Seattle from Houston mid-season a year ago. He recently received a three-year contract extension.
