Full slate of Hokies playing in NFL contests on Friday

It was a blockbuster beginning to the 2018 NFL Preseason as three Tech alums registered interceptions. S Chuck Clark got the party started for the Ravens in the Hall of Fame Game, while CB Kyle Fuller got a pick six for the Bears in Cincinnati and rookie CB Brandon Facyson completed the hat trick for the Chargers at Arizona.

Tech alums on the Steelers and Redskins all played on Thursday evening, while Friday night's schedule is filled with former Hokies who will get another opportunity to strut their stuff on the preseason stage.

Thursday, August 16

Packers 51, Steelers 34
S Terrell Edmunds, TE Bucky Hodges and the Pittsburgh Steelers fell to the Green Bay Packers. Edmunds had a great night tallying three tackles, along with forcing and recovering a fumble on special teams. Hodges did not record any stats on the evening. TE Ryan Malleck is also a member of the Steelers, but he is currently on the injured reserve.

Redskins 15, N.Y. Jets 13
CB Greg Stroman, CB Adonis Alexander, LB Dadi Nicolas, DT Tim Settle and the Washington Redskins defeated the N.Y. Jets. Stroman finished the game with three tackles, while Settle tallied one tackle and one pass deflection. Alexander and Nicolas did not record stats on the evening.
