National Football League training camps open in full force on Wednesday with 23 Virginia Tech alums currently listed on NFL roster, including nine rookies entering their initial camp. Buffalo leads the way with four Hokies on its roster (LB Tremaine Edmunds, WR Cam Phillips, G Wyatt Teller & TE Logan Thomas), while Washington has a trio of VT draftees reporting to its camp in Richmond (CBs Adonis Alexander and Greg Stroman, plus DT Tim Settle). The Redskins open their preseason slate with a contest at New England on Aug. 9.
Terrell Edmunds inked a reported four-year, $10.8M rookie deal on Tuesday as the Steelers are set to begin camp at St. Vincent's College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Edmunds was the lone member of Tech's six 2018 draftees who remained unsigned on the eve of camp.

BURDEN CAMPING WITH 49ERS
In addition to players, coaches and support staff across the league, current Tech running backs coach Zohn Burden is participating in an NFL training camp for a second consecutive year as part of the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship. After working with the Redskins a year ago, Burden is embedded with the 49ers coaching staff this summer.
HIGH-FASHION HOKIE
QB Tyrod Taylor took a junket to Paris for Fashion Week earlier this summer and was recently named to Sports Illustrated's Fashionable 50 list – a collection of fashion trendsetters in the sports world. When Taylor is rocking the latest threads from designers Jerry Lorenzo and Virgil Abloh, he also serves as quarterback of the Cleveland Browns, where his exploits competing with No. 1 overall draft pick Baker Mayfield will be chronicled by HBO's Hard Knocks. Taylor and the Browns open the preseason on Aug. 9 at the N.Y. Giants.

ALL EYES ON THE EDMUNDS
Tim Graham of The Athletic wrote earlier this week that the Edmunds could be the NFL's next great football family. ICYMI, make sure you check out his in-depth story following a visit to Danville, Virginia: bit.ly/E3-NFL

That contest has the potential to pit RB Trey Edmunds (Saints) against S Terrell Edmunds (Steelers). Terrell Edmunds won't have long to face a fellow Virginia Tech alum as the Steelers visit Cleveland on Sept. 9 to open the regular season, where QB Tyrod Taylor is anticipated to make his debut as the Browns' starting
