Tech track qualifies 37 for NCAA East Regional

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The NCAA released its list of declared student-athletes for the upcoming NCAA East and West Regional Preliminary meets and Virginia Tech has 37 entries set for the NCAA East Regional in Bloomington, Ind., with events starting on Thursday, May 26.

The men have 24 entries in 12 events and the women have 13 entries for 10 events, including two relays. From each of the two preliminary sites, the top 12 finishers in each individual event and the top 12 relays will qualify to the NCAA Final Championship Meet at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, on June 8-11, 2011.
