Isaacson joined the Hokies from Bryant University where he served as a football equipment manager intern for a year working with Coach Chris Merritt and the Bulldogs' athletic program. Isaacson assisted with the inventorying, issuing of equipment and apparel while overseeing practices and the junior varsity games at Bryant. Isaacson was also a volunteer assistant coach with the Bulldogs' Men's Lacrosse team, assisting the team in winning the 2025 regular season title and making it to the conference championship
Isaacson is a 2024 graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, earning a degree in sports management. While a student, Isaacson worked as an intern at Yale University and Wesleyan University with the men's lacrosse teams. At Yale, he was the Men's Lacrosse director of operations intern, assisting the director of operations with team meals, coordinating scheduling and the itinerary for away games, and keeping stats during games and practice. At Wesleyan, Isaacson was a team intern, assisting the coaches with various tasks, including setting up drills, ordering team meals, filming practices, and assisting the team in winning the 2024 NESCAC championship.
Isaacson began his athletic equipment career as a student football equipment manager and as a student Athletics worker while an undergraduate at SCSU. Isaacson played club lacrosse and was a 4 year starting close defender at SCSU.
Isaacson graduated from SCSU with a degree in sports management in 2024. He resides in Blacksburg, while his family still is back in Cheshire
