Hokie Club Responsibilities: Nichols is currently responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding gifts to assist in student-athlete scholarships, programmatic needs and capital projects for the Hokie Club.

At Virginia Tech: Nichols previously oversaw the strategic growth of the Hokie Club’s membership base to over 25,000 members. He was responsible for oversight of the Student Hokie Club, Recent Graduate Program and primary ideation, development and execution of micro-campaigns for the Hokie Club.
While completing his Bachelor’s degree at Virginia Tech, Nichols spent time in the marketing and fan experience department, ticket operations and with Virginia Tech’s multimedia rights partner, LEARFIELD.
Prior to Virginia Tech: Upon graduation, Nichols worked as an Account Executive with LEARFIELD Ticket Solutions, focusing on customer and donor retention.
Of Note: Nichols participated in the 2023 College Football Playoff, assisting with team operations & hospitality.
Education: Virginia Tech, 2020 (B.A. Communications, Public Relations; Business Leadership minor)
Personal: A native of South Hill, Va., Nichols currently resides in Christiansburg, Va.
