Hokie Club Responsibilities: McVey is part of the In-Venue Experience team, overseeing video board content and show execution for football, wrestling, and lacrosse. She also assists with men's basketball and softball, and other video board operations. McVey oversees HokieVision's graduate assistant program.
Joined VT Athletics Staff: 2018
At Virginia Tech: McVey started as a Content Editor in 2018, producing video content for social media and video board shows while overseeing all content for lacrosse. In 2019, she became Big Screens Coordinator, shifting her creative expertise to video board shows. At that time, she had HokieVision oversight of women's soccer, wrestling, swimming and diving, and lacrosse. McVey began her current role as Associate Director of In-Venue Experience in 2021.
Prior to Virginia Tech: McVey worked as a Production Assistant for HokieVision as an undergraduate student from 2015-2018. She worked video board shows as well as digital broadcasts.
