Luke Bouchard

Head Student Manager

Luke Bouchard begins his third season with the Virginia Tech baseball team after joining the team as a student manager in the fall of 2021. As the head student manager, Bouchard works very closely with the coaching staff, especially director of operations, Cam Davis, to uphold the standard and culture of the program that head coach John Szefc has created. Bouchard’s other duties include coordinating field setup and tear down for practices and games, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and completing other administrative needs requested by the coaching staff.

Bouchard is originally from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where he attended Portsmouth High School and was a member of their basketball team. At Virginia Tech, he plans to major in sports media and analytics and graduate in May, 2025. After graduation, Bouchard aspires to become a MLB front office worker or become a sports reporter. Luke is the son of John and Mary Bouchard, and has one brother, Jack. As a New England native, Bouchard supports his local professional teams, including the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and the Boston Celtics.
