Responsibilities: Lily Argyle serves in a supporting capacity for the executive leadership team of Virginia Tech Athletics. She manages the daily administrative responsibilities for Brian White and assists the executive staff in furthering the interests of the athletics department.
Joined VT Athletics Staff: Lily was hired at Virginia Tech in August of 2026.
Prior to Virginia Tech: Lily previously worked as an in-house legal intern for organizations involved in fitness, sports, and college athletics. After completing her education, she started her post-graduate career as a judicial law clerk in Pennsylvania before returning to college athletics in her current role.
Education: Lily holds a Juris Doctor and a certificate in sports law from Tulane University Law School, a master's degree in sport management and policy from the University of Georgia, and a bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in creative writing from Vanderbilt University.
Of Note: Lily is a former student-athlete for Vanderbilt University, where she competed in women's lacrosse. Professionally, she is an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Sports Lawyers Association.
Personal: Originally from Medford, New Jersey, Lily currently resides in Christiansburg.
