Responsibilities: Lauren coordinates all sports medicine needs for Virginia Tech Men’s and Women’s Tennis

Prior to Virginia Tech: Lauren attended The University of Pittsburgh for her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training where she graduated in 2018. While at Pitt, Lauren worked with the Men’s Basketball, Football, and Wrestling teams as well as with the Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey team at Robert Morris University. During the summer of 2017, Lauren had an internship with the USOPC working at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY where she worked in the Sports Medicine Clinic with the winter sports housed there.
Lauren went on to earn her Master’s degree in Athletic Training at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania where she worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Women’s Volleyball, and Men’s Wrestling teams. During the 2019-2020 school year at Virginia Tech, Lauren worked with the Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving teams.

Of Note: Lauren proudly became a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association in 2016. She is a licensed athletic trainer by the Virginia Board of Health Professions. Lauren is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Personal: Lauren was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and currently resides in Christiansburg, Virginia. She enjoys hiking, traveling and photography.
