Hokie ClubResponsibilities: Primary teams include Women's Basketball, Women's Soccer, and Women's Volleyball. Oversees the continued academic eligibility of student-athletes in assigned sports, providing holistic support to guide student-athletes through their academic careers. Serves on the athletics department Mental Health Committee, and N4A Honors and Awards committee.

At Virginia Tech: Currently serves as Senior Assistant Director in SAASS with primary team responsibilities of Women's Basketball, Women's Soccer, and Women's Volleyball starting Fall 2022. Previously served as an assistant director in SAASS working with the Track and Field/ Cross Country programs.
Prior to Virginia Tech: Completed graduate studies at the University of Iowa while serving as a Learning Assistant and Graduate Intern. Served as Academic Counselor for Football and Men's Golf at James Madison University from 2017-2021.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management with an emphasis in Journalism from Bowling Green State University 2015. Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Iowa 2017.
Of Note: Proud Aunt to 5 nieces. Can often be found reading, hiking, baking, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs. Volunteers as a CASA advocate.
Personal: A native of Chicago, Laura currently resides in Christiansburg.
