Kait Bucci

Responsibilities: Bucci works primarily with Women’s Basketball and her main responsibilities include filming and creating video content for social media, recruiting, and occasionally in-venue. She also helps lead the creative video student intern program, and oversees creative content for Lacrosse, Women’s Soccer, and Swim and Dive.

Education and Experience: She graduated from Glen Allen High School in Richmond, Virginia from the Center for Education and Human Development. She pursued a degree in Digital Video and Cinema at James Madison University, where she worked with JMU Creative Services as a student producer. During her time in college she was a Video Production Intern with the MLS team, Charlotte Football Club, in Charlotte, North Carolina. She also worked as a Live Content Coordinator for Major League Baseball, covering the Minor League (AA). Bucci helped lead the student team at JMU and graduated as a Senior Lead Student Producer.

Joining VT Athletics: Bucci joined the video team in 2026 as an Associate Director.

More About Kait: She grew up in Glen Allen, Virginia. She found her love for filming sports early, she picked up a camera in high school and never put it down. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her pets, friends, and family.
