Lauren Naldo

Staff Counselor
Lauren joined the CAMP staff in 2018.  Her interests include performance anxiety, emotion regulation, mental focus, perfectionism, body image and eating concerns, women’s issues, relationship issues, exploration of identity, and sexual assault and trauma.  She also has interest in helping student-athletes navigate relationships with teammates and coaches, identify strengths and opportunities to step-up as leaders, and team-building.  Lauren was a cheerleader at Mount Saint Mary’s University where she received her B.S. in Psychology.  She received her M.A. in Counseling from Marymount University.  She is licensed by the Virginia Board of Counseling and is board certified through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).  She is a member of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and the American Counseling Association (ACA). Lauren will have a limited role in CAMP during the 23-24 year and will not be providing counseling services.
