Responsibilities: Angle is responsible for the coordination and planning of the Hokie Club’s external communications, providing direction in social media, original Hokie Club content, and emails with an emphasis to grow membership and engage donors. He is also the In-Venue Host for Virginia Tech Athletics and can be seen engaging with fans on HokieVision as part of the in-venue experience at numerous Hokies sporting events.

At Virginia Tech: Angle started his career in athletics as a broadcast intern for Virginia Tech Sports Properties in 2014. He has been on the call for numerous Virginia Tech Athletics events on both the ACC Network and ESPN3. Angle served as the Voice of VT Softball from 2015-2017 and also assisted in the setup of Virginia Tech Sports Properties broadcasts during his time as an undergrad. He continues to serve in a freelance play-by-play role on the ACC Network.
Prior to Virginia Tech: After graduating as a Hokie, Bailey Angle served as the Director of Broadcasting for Bluefield University from 2017-2021. At Bluefield, Angle worked alongside Advancement to provide a social media effort for yearly fundraising campaigns for athletics in addition to his broadcast duties. He also served as the Director of Media Relations for the Bluefield Blue Jays in 2016 and as a Broadcast/Media Relations Assistant for the Erie SeaWolves in 2017 and 2018.
Education: Virginia Tech, 2017 (B.A. Communication, Multimedia Journalism; Double Major in History)
Personal: Angle is a native of New Kent, Va. He currently resides in Christiansburg with his wife, Heidi, and dog, Margot.
