2020-21: Wrestled in eight matches, including two duals, posting a 6-2 record on the year… Won by fall in his first dual match of the year at Duke… Earned bonus points in three of his six wins, two pins and a technical fall… Won a 19-4 technical fall in the Kent State extra matches… Opened the year with a 12-5 decision win in the Campbell extra matches… Tied for second on the team with two wins by pin on the season.
 
2019-20: Went 6-8 in duals in his first season as a starter… Led the team with nine major decision wins… Had the fastest pin of the season, taking just 18 seconds to end the match… Named ACC Wrestler of the Week (1/21) after back-to-back major decision wins at Binghamton and Cornell… Went 1-2 at the Cliff Keen Invitational… Went 3-2 with a tech fall and two major decisions at the Navy Classic… Went 3-1 at the Southeast Open en route to a third-place finish in the 197 open division.
 
2018-19: Went 4-2 in two open tournaments … Suffered season-ending injury … Picked up a 17-4 major decision win over Bear Hughes (Oklahoma State) … Went 3-1 at the Storm Open with two bonus point victories.

2017-18: Redshirted … Went 22-8 wrestling unattached … Racked up 12 bonus point wins … Went 4-0 to win the 184 pound title at the Hokie Open … Tech falled Duke’s LJ Castellano in 6:28, 23-8 … Went 5-1 at the Wolfpack Open … Placed eighth at the prestigious Southern Scuffle where he went 3-3 … Beat Oklahoma State’s Ben Marsden by decision, 10-9 … Won by tech fall, 25-10, over Stanford’s Judah Duhm in 6:36 … Went 5-1 at the Appalachian State Open … Won by major decision, 14-3, over Arizona State’s Austin Clayton.
 
High School: Lettered four times for Coach John Swartz at Smithfield HS … Two-time state champion, once at 170 pounds and once at 182 pounds … Four-time high school All-American.
