2019-20: NCAA Qualifier… Placed third at the ACC Championships to claim an automatic qualification to the NCAAs… Defeated Pitt’s Louis Newell in the ACC third-place match to secure his spot at the NCAA Championships… Went 8-6 in duals… placed fourth at the Cliff Keen Invitational after going 6-2 and upsetting No. 6 Alex Mackall of Iowa State in the consolation semifinals… Placed fourth at the Navy Classic after going 3-2… Claimed a 5-2 decision over No. 20 Malik Heinselman of Ohio State to secure the 21-15 upset over the third-ranked Buckeyes… Won a 2-0 decision over Northwestern’s Mike DeAugustino at the Mat on the Mound…. Won a 2-0 decision over Missouri’s Dack Punke to help the Hokies pull the upset over the ninth-ranked Tigers.
2018-19: Started in 11 duals for the Hokies at 125 pounds … Went 15-13 in his first full season competing … Placed third at the ACC Championship where he went 3-1 … Defeated North Carolina’s Joseph Heilmann by a 3-1 decision in sudden victory to clinch third … Went 3-2 in ACC duals … Scored a takedown but fell in a narrow 4-2 decision against 2019 All-American Vitali Arujau of Cornell … Went 3-2 at the F&M Open … Defeated Lehigh’s Luke Resnick by a 5-1 decision … Had a 14-2 major decision over Duke’s Harrison Campbell … Went 4-1 at the Hokie Open.
2017-18: Missed the season after suffering a knee injury.
2016-17: Redshirted … Went 1-1 wrestling unattached at 125 … Defeated NC State’s Charles Lenox by a 3-1 decision at the Southeast Open.
High School: Wrestled and was a team captain at St. Christopher’s School ... Two-time National Prep Champion and took first place at the 2013 Greco Nationals in Fargo ... Fourth place finish at 2015 Freestyle Nationals, finished second at Beast of the East and seventh at Ironman.
