photo    2004 Outdoor: Finished fourth with a jump of 15'7" (4.75m) in the pole vault at the BIG EAST Championships ... Jumped a season best 15'11' (4.85m) at the Tar Heel Opener for a third place finish ... Had four top-five place jumps.

2004 Indoor: Took eighth in the pole vault at the BIG EAST Championships with a mark of 15'3" (4.65m) ... Posted a season best jump of 15'9" (4.80m) at the Virginia Tech Last Chance meet and finished in sixth place ... In all five competitions, recorded top 10 finishes ... Was also sixth at the Rod McCravy Memorial and tied for ninth at the Tech Invitational.

2003 Outdoor: Finished second at the FAMU Relays, clearing an outdoor best of 15'5.5" (4.71m).

2003 Indoor: Cleared a personal best of 15'7" (4.75m) in his indoor collegiate debut, the Father Diamond meet ... Finished 15th at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships with a height of 14'9" (4.50m).

High School: 2002 Maryland state pole vault champion ... Indoor conference, regional and state champion ... Holds the indoor division record in the pole vault with a leap of 15' (4.57m) ... Outdoor conference, regional and state champion in the pole vault ... Placed third in the state competition in 2000.

Personal: Born April 9, 1984 in New Orleans, La. ... Son of Daniel and Julie Gore ... Physics major ... Has four siblings: Chris, Alissa, Ethan and Janielle.
