Piemonte on White: "Michelle has had to deal with some physical obstacles this past year, and I am hoping she can overcome them in order to prove that she's a consistent performer and point scorer in our dual-meets."

2006-07: Only dove in exhibitions at the ACC Championships ... Finished 25th in the 3-meter event and 27th in the 1m at the Nike Cup ... Posted top scores in both events at the NC State/UNCW meet.

High School: Lettered in both diving and lacrosse all four years at W.T. Woodson ... Placed fourth at districts, 11th at regionals and 13th in the state as a sophomore ... Finished fifth in districts as a freshman ... Earned an 11th place finish at states as a senior ... A scholar-athlete in 2005 and 2006 ... Captain of the lacrosse team ... Helped earn two state championships with the lacrosse team as a sophomore and junior.
