2005-06: Swam the third leg of the 800-yard free relay which earned All-America honorable mention honors with a 15th-place finish and placed 31st in the 200-yard backstroke at the NCAA Championships ... Became Tech's first male swimmer to earn an individual ACC Championship, placing first in the 100-yard butterfly and setting the ACC meet record ... Also earned All-ACC honors by placing in the top three in the 800-yard freestyle relay and 100-yard backstroke at the ACC Championships ... Won three events at the Nike Cup: the 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard backstroke and 200-yard backstroke ... Won the 200-yard individual medley and 200-yard backstroke at UNC-Wilmington ... Won the 100-yard butterfly at East Carolina ... Won the 200-yard backstroke at West Virginia.

2004-05: Was on the third-place 400-yard medley relay team at the ACC Championships ... Finished third at the same meet in the 100-yard butterfly and eighth in the 100-yard backstroke ... Part of the third-place 800-yard freestyle relay team at the ACCs ... Was on the eighth-place 200-yard freestyle relay team at the same meet ... Was second in the 200-yard backstroke against Pittsburgh ... Placed 10th at the Nike Cup in the 100-yard butterfly ... Garnered a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke at the Georgia Tech Quad Meet.

High School: Swam for Coach David Wagner first year of high school in California and then for Dudley Duncan ... Swam on North Coast Aquatics team his sophomore year ... Was a two-time first-team all-Metro selection ... Set a state record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.09 ... Was a senior national qualifier on his Swim Quest club team.
