High School: A member of NOVA of Virginia swim club ... set the 500-yard freestyle record for high school all four years ... also helped break the 400-yard freestyle relay as a senior ... an All-America consideration as a junior and senior ... named all-prep and all-state as a junior and senior ... voted the MVP in the final three years at high school ... won both the sportsmanship award and the most improved award ... a two-time state champion in the 1,650-yard freestyle with NOVA ... a national qualifier in the 1,500- and 1,650-yard freestyle events.
