Skinner on Francis: "With added strength and improved leg power in his backstroke, Ryan is going to be a big part of our backstroke crew at the ACC Championships.

High School: Swam at Boyertown Senior H.S. and for the Boyertown YMCA Navy Seals ... Placed second in the 100-meter and 200 backstroke, fourth in the 50 backstroke and fifth in the 200 IM at the YMCA Long Course Championships ... Also performed well at the Short Course Nationals, finishing second in the 200 backstroke and fourth in the 100 backstroke ... As a junior, finished fourth in the 200 free, fifth in the 500 free and fifth in the 200 IM at the Pa state finals ... Earned athletic All-American status as a junior and senior.
