High School: Was a four-time first-team all-district and three-time all-Met honoree, winning the District Swimmer of the Year award as a senior at Osbourn H.S. ... Won the 500 free at three separate regional meets ... Won the 200 IM twice ... Placed as high as third in the 500 free, fourth in the 200 IM and fourth in the 200 free relay at the State Finals ... Was second in total points scored at the Virginia Senior Championships as a member of the QDD Swim Team his senior year ... Set the meet record in the 1650 free while also winning the 500 and 1000 free titles ... Also named to the Academic All-America team.
