Hokie ClubHonors:
- Won the VHSL state championship in the 100 freestyle as a sophomore and the 200 freestyle as a junior.
- Named to the Chesterfield County Public Schools Superintendent’s All-County team for the 2024-2025 season and earned All-County Athlete of the Year honors for girls’ swimming.
- Placed first in the 200 freestyle (1:48.54) and second in the 100 freestyle (49.98) at the 2025 VHSL Class 6 State Meet.
- Placed first in the 100 freestyle (50.94) and second in the 200 freestyle (1:49.08) at the 2024 VHSL Class 6 State Meet.
Personal:
- Daughter of Kurt and Sharon Vernon and has two siblings, Anne and Joseph.
- Her cousin played baseball at William & Mary and was drafted by the Braves organization in 2025.
- Plans to major in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise with the goal of becoming a labor and delivery nurse.
