Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG - Virginia Tech Athletics announced enhancements to premium seating at Cassell Coliseum, introducing individual, NBA-style courtside seats and new loge seating opportunities for fans attending men’s and women’s basketball and wrestling contests.
As part of the updates, Virginia Tech is replacing its existing baseline and sideline tables with individual, NBA-style courtside seats. The new configuration will triple the courtside seating inventory, elevate the Virginia Tech Gameday Experience, and create additional revenue to support Hokies athletics programs.
“We are committed to finding new and innovative ways to enhance the Virginia Tech Gameday Experience for Hokie Nation while making strategic investments that position our athletics department for long-term success,” said Brian White, Virginia Tech vice president and director of athletics. “The premium seating enhancements at Cassell Coliseum represent another important step forward, providing our fans with exciting new ways to experience the energy and atmosphere of Hokie basketball and wrestling while generating critical resources to support our student-athletes and programs.”
In addition to the courtside improvements, new loge seating will expand the premium seating options available at Cassell Coliseum for men’s basketball, offering fans additional ways to experience Hokie hoops action.
The loge seating premium option offers Hokie basketball fans an elevated gameday experience just above the team tunnel at Cassell Coliseum. Patrons can enjoy the action from comfortable swivel chairs, convenient tabletop space for food and drinks, personalized service from premium hospitality staff and entry to an exclusive hospitality area beginning with ACC play.
The enhancements will roll out next month as the basketball season tips off.
