Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG – Head coach Terry Ann Zawacki-Holdren announced that Vikranth “Vik” Reddy has joined the Virginia Tech women’s tennis coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach.
Before arriving in Blacksburg, Reddy served as an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s tennis teams at Anderson University under Director of Tennis Joey Eskridge. His main roles included recruiting, practices, match preparation, travel and on-court coaching, as he was fully involved with all parts of the program.
Reddy has coaching experience going back to 2015, which includes junior development, performance training, private lessons and high school tennis. In 2023, he coached his high school alma mater, Spring Valley High School, to an undefeated 20-0 season, helping to develop multiple All-State and All-Region players.
In college, he competed for the University of South Carolina club tennis team at No. 1 singles and mixed doubles, helping the team qualify for USTA Tennis on Campus National Championships in two seasons. He also served as the club’s president.
Reddy earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from South Carolina.
