Tech announces 2026-27 women's basketball ACC schedule

The Hokies will face eight NCAA Tournament teams during ACC play

CHARLOTTE – Virginia Tech women’s basketball has announced its 2026-27 ACC schedule as released by the conference office Wednesday afternoon.

The Hokies will play 18 conference games, once against 16 ACC foes while battling twice against the Virginia Cavaliers. The 18-game league slate begins on Dec. 6 at Duke.

Virginia Tech will open its ACC home schedule on Dec. 19, welcoming Wake Forest to Cassell Coliseum. The Hokies will close the calendar year on Dec. 31 at Pitt before opening 2027 with a home matchup against Syracuse on Jan. 3.

The Hokies will remain at home Jan. 7 to host Notre Dame before hitting the road for a pair of in-state and conference contests. Tech will travel to Virginia on Jan. 10 and NC State on Jan. 14 before returning home to face Louisville on Jan. 17.

Florida State will visit Cassell Coliseum on Jan. 24, followed by a road matchup at Boston College on Jan. 28. The Hokies will then host Cal on Jan. 31.

Virginia Tech begins February with consecutive road contests at Clemson (Feb. 4) and North Carolina (Feb. 7). The Hokies return home Feb. 11 to host SMU before welcoming Stanford to Blacksburg on Feb. 18.

The regular season dwindles down away from Blacksburg, beginning with a road trip to Georgia Tech on Feb. 21 and then to Miami on Feb. 25. Virginia Tech will close the regular season at home against Virginia on Feb. 28.

Television networks and game times will be announced at a later date.
