BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech softball announced the 2026 fall schedule. The slate features five total matchups and three chances to catch the Hokies at Tech Softball Park. 

The Hokies first travel to Radford, Va., for a road matchup against the Highlanders on Saturday, Oct. 3 at noon. Tech then welcomes the Highlanders to Tech Softball Park for a home game Friday, Oct. 16 at 5 p.m. 

Tech hits the road for a matchup against George Mason on Saturday, Oct. 24 at noon before returning back to Blacksburg for two back-to-back Friday night intrasquads on Oct. 30 and Nov. 6. Both intrasquads begin at 5 p.m. 

All fall ball games at Tech Softball Park are free and open to the public. 

The Hokies return a majority of their starting lineup from the 2026 season – a year that saw the Hokies go 48-12 and advance to the ACC Championship for the first time since 2012. First Team All-ACC honorees Bree Carrico and Jordan Lynch return for Tech, alongside NFCA All-Region honorees Nora Abromavage, Michelle Chatfield, Addison Foster and Emma Mazzarone.
