BLACKSBURG – The countdown to basketball season has officially begun! Virginia Tech Athletics is thrilled to unveil this season’s single-game ticket offers for both men’s and women’s nonconference matchups.

As with all on-sales, Hokie Scholarship Fund donors as of March 1, 2026, and digital subscribers will receive first access for both men’s and women’s basketball. This is a great opportunity to purchase additional tickets for family and friends prior to the public.

Fans can unlock presale access by downloading the HokieSports mobile app and creating a profile to become a digital subscriber.

Tuesday, Sept. 15 - Nonconference On-Sale Timeline (All times Eastern)

  • 10 a.m. | All Hokie Scholarship Fund donors
  • Noon | Digital Subscribers
  • 2 p.m. | General public (based on availability)

Men’s Basketball:

With affordability and value in mind, nonconference games without location will be on sale starting Tuesday. Locations will be assigned following the Ticket Membership claim process to help fill Cassell Coliseum from the bottom up and ensure the best environment possible.

Don’t miss your chance to be there as the Hokies prepare to run it back this season behind returning impact players Ben Hammond, Amani Hansberry and Tyler Johnson

Interested in bringing a group of 10 or more to a home game this season? Learn more about group ticket offerings.

Stay tuned, because special ticket offers and packages for themed games will be revealed at a later date (based on availability). Be the first to know when they drop!

Current ticket members should be on the lookout for specific communication regarding their claim process for non-conference games. Similar to last year, there will be 3 options:

  1. Claim your same seats (discounted rate) during the Oct. 6 to Oct. 15 claim window.
  2. Upgrade your seats – If you don’t act on option 1, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase non-conference tickets and select a new location prior to the general public sale on Oct. 19.
  3. Take no action – Can't make the game? Taking no action during the claim window will return your non-conference seats, allowing them to be purchased by the general public and help fill every empty seat in Cassell.

Women’s Basketball

Also beginning Tuesday, fans can purchase tickets to all nonconference women’s basketball games following the sales timeline above.

Momentum continues to build for Virginia Tech women’s basketball entering year three under head coach Megan Duffy following a 23-win season and NCAA Tournament appearance. Nonconference tickets start at just $12 for adults and $7 for youth, giving fans an affordable way to experience the Virginia Tech gameday experience.

Looking for the best deal? A limited number of general admission season tickets are still available, ensuring fans can experience every home game at Cassell Coliseum this season. This package can be purchased for only $80.

ACC single-game tickets for both teams will be revealed at a later date. Be the first to know when those tickets are available.
