Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG – Kristen Skiera and the Virginia Tech lacrosse program announced the hiring of Olivia Adamson as assistant coach Friday morning. She comes to Blacksburg after a decorated collegiate career that saw her play for four years in the ACC with Syracuse and in 2026, she won a national championship with Northwestern.
Adamson, an attacker, racked up several honors on the field including ACC All-Freshman Team, All-ACC First Team and All-America recognition from multiple outlets; IWLCA and Inside Lacrosse. Prior to the 2024 season, she was named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, an annual honor recognizing the most outstanding American college lacrosse players.
On the field, she recorded 220 career points in 79 games which included 146 goals. She recorded an impressive 107 draw controls during the 2023 season and in 2024 had her best scoring output with 58 goals and 83 points.
