Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG, Va. – With the 2026 season fast approaching, Virginia Tech football will host its annual Fan Day on Sunday, August 16, from 4-5 p.m. ET, offering Hokie fans a special opportunity to meet the Hokies' student-athletes as excitement continues to build for a new era of football in Blacksburg.
The event will take place inside the Beamer-Lawson Indoor Practice Facility and is free and open to the public. Fans are encouraged to RSVP to attend and take advantage of one of their first opportunities to interact with the 2026 Hokies before kickoff.
There will be no early entry or early access period for this year's event. Doors will open to all attendees at the scheduled event start time, and fans are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early.
Know Before You Go
Fans planning to attend Fan Day should keep the following information in mind:
- Parking: Parking is free on weekends across campus. Fans are encouraged to park in Lot 1, located adjacent to the Beamer-Lawson Indoor Practice Facility, for the most convenient access.
- Concessions: Fans can enjoy complimentary hot dogs and bottled water during the event outside Gate 7.
- Hokie Shop: Official Virginia Tech merchandise will be available for purchase both inside and outside the facility.
- On-Site Information: Representatives from the Blacksburg Hokie Club and Virginia Tech Athletics Ticket Office will be available inside the Beamer-Lawson Indoor Practice Facility to answer questions and provide information.
Virginia Tech is set to host six home games this fall, highlighted by a clash with in-state rival Virginia. With high demand and tickets for the Hokies vs. Pitt matchup already sold out, fans are encouraged to act quickly to secure single-game tickets and be part of one of college football’s most electrifying gameday experiences.
