Epling named to Mannelly Award watch list

BLACKSBURG - Virginia Tech long snapper, Christian Epling has been named to the watch list for the Mannelly Award. Named after former NFL long snapper, Patrick Mannelly, the award will be presented for the 8th year to the player judged by a panel of national experts to be the best FBS long snapper.

Epling, from Dacula, Georgia, has snapped in 37 games for the Hokies over the last three seasons.

The Award, created in 2019, benefits Bernie's Book Bank, a non-profit organization located in Lake Bluff, Illinois.
