Hokies release 2026 women’s soccer schedule

Tech faces off against nine teams who advanced to the 2025 NCAA Tournament

BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech head coach Chugger Adair has released the Hokies’ 2026 schedule.

The slate features nine teams that advanced to the 2025 NCAA Tournament, including a matchup with the defending National Champions, Florida State.

The Hokies kick off the 2026 regular season with four straight home matches. Tech faces Old Dominion (Aug. 13), VMI (Aug. 16) and Liberty (Aug. 20) before wrapping up the opening home stretch against Maryland (Aug. 23).

Tech first hits the road to face William & Mary on Aug. 27 before traveling to Washington D.C. to face Georgetown, who advanced to the Sweet Sixteen in the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

The Hokies pay a visit to Penn State (Sept. 3) before finishing the non-conference slate with a home match against Illinois on Sept. 6.

Kicking off the ACC slate, Tech travels to face its first three conference opponents. The Hokies take on Pittsburgh on Sept. 17, Syracuse on Sept. 20 and NC State on Sept. 27.

Tech hosts Louisville (Oct. 3) before facing SMU in Dallas, Texas, on Oct. 8.

Beginning Oct. 16, the Hokies host four consecutive ACC opponents. Tech begins the slate against Virginia in the annual Commonwealth Clash before Wake Forest (Oct. 22), Clemson (Oct. 25) and Boston College (Oct. 29) come to town.

The Hokies round out the 2026 campaign with the defending National Champions – Florida State – on Nov. 5 in Tallahassee, Fla.
