BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech men’s basketball team will play host to Ole Miss on Tuesday, December 1 in the fourth annual SEC/ACC Challenge ESPN and the conference offices announced Friday. Tech’s tipoff time and television designation for the game against the Rebels will be announced by ESPN later.
The Hokies and Rebels have met five times with the most recent meeting coming in Oxford, Mississippi in 2017. Tech owns a 3-2 lead in the series. Last season Ole Mis finished 15-20 (4-14 SEC)
The SEC leads the Men’s Challenge with two wins and a tie. Last season, the ACC won seven games, including the Hokies’ 86-83 overtime victory at South Carolina.
