CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Seven Hokies garnered All-ACC Academic honors, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team include a minimum 3.0 grade point average for the previous two semesters and a 3.0 cumulative GPA for the student-athlete’s academic career, along with being enrolled at the institution for at least one year and classified as an undergraduate student. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s athletic contests.
Kylie Aldridge started all 59 games she played in 2026 as the designated player, catcher or right field. She hit .363 with a career-high 61 hits, 18 doubles, 11 home runs and 50 RBIs. She launched her first career grand slam in the Hokies’ 6-0 win over South Alabama in the NCAA Regional (May 16) and also recorded a 1.000 fielding percentage on the year en route to earning NFCA Mid-Atlantic First Team and All-ACC Second Team honors.
Michelle Chatfield started all 60 games for the Hokies at first base. She finished the 2026 season hitting .377 with 72 hits, 10 doubles, 15 home runs and 51 RBIs. She set the program record with nine RBIs in a single game in Tech’s 14-5 win over North Carolina (April 25) and garnered NFCA National Player of the Week on April 28. Chatfield garnered NFCA Mid-Atlantic First Team and All-ACC Second Team honors in 2026.
Addison Foster made an immediate impact with the Hokies as she started all 60 games in center field. The NFCA Mid-Atlantic First Team and All-ACC Second Team honoree finished second on the team with a .410 batting average and tallied 54 runs, 77 hits, four triples, six home runs and 46 RBIs. She set the single-season record with 20 doubles this season.
Jordan Lynch started all 60 games at third base for the Hokies. The Rising Sun, Md., native led Virginia Tech in all major categories, including batting average (.414), runs scored (70), hits (84), home runs (18) and slugging percentage (.808). The 2026 First Team All-American (D1 Softball, Softball America) and First Team All-ACC honoree also led the Hokie with 13 stolen bases.
Gaby Mizelle started all 60 games for the Hokies at right field or second base. The rookie hit .301 in her rookie campaign with 52 hits, 37 runs scored, six doubles, eight home runs and 39 RBIs. She garnered ACC Freshman of the Week honors on March 2.
Lily Pallante appeared in 41 contests for the Hokies, mainly as a pinch runner. The rookie scored 21 runs and recorded her first career hit against Longwood on March 18.
Annika Rohs started all 60 games for the Hokies at shortstop in 2026. The junior hit career highs in batting average (.297), runs (38), hits (38), doubles (9), RBIs (12) and on-base percentage (.409) this past season and also posted a .951 fielding percentage at shortstop.
