CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Virginia Tech women's golfers Valentine Delon, Savannah Dupre, Emily Mathews and Xin Yao Wang were recognized on the 2026 All-ACC Academic Team as announced by the league office Monday.

A total of 55 student-athletes were named to the Women’s Golf ACC All-Academic Team, with all 15 conference teams represented. Headlined by Paula Martín Sampedro and Freshman of the Year Rianne Malixi of Duke, 13 of the 15 All-ACC members were honored on the ACC All-Academic Team.

Boston College’s Cynthia Zhang, Clemson’s Isabella Rawl and North Carolina’s Megan Streicher were named to the All-Academic Team for the fourth time in their collegiate careers. Fifteen players were awarded for the third time.

Duke, North Carolina and Notre Dame led the way with five honorees each, while California, Clemson, Louisville, Miami, Stanford, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest saw four honorees each.

The ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year award was established in September 2007 and is presented annually to the top junior or senior student-athlete in each sport. Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team include a minimum 3.0 grade point average for the previous two semesters and a 3.0 cumulative GPA for the student-athlete’s academic career, along with being enrolled at the institution for at least one year and classified as an undergraduate student. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s athletic contests.
