Hokie ClubCHARLOTTE, N.C. – Virginia Tech men’s tennis was well represented on the All-ACC Academic Team with three Hokies earning the honor.

Drew Fishback
Blake Hilsen
Nominees were required to have at least a 3.0 grade point average in the previous semester as well as a 3.0 cumulative grade point average throughout their academic career. The student-athletes were also required to compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests during the season.
Ilyas Fahim earned his second career All-ACC Academic honor. He is a junior studying Business Management.
Drew Fishback earned the honor for the first time in his career as a freshman. He is pursuing a degree in Finance.
Blake Hilsen rounds out Tech’s three All-ACC Academic selections. The sophomore, who earned the accolade for the first time in his career, is studying real estate.
