Four from women's tennis named to All-ACC Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Four Hokies were tabbed to the All-ACC Academic Team, the league office announced Friday.

Mila Mulready
Alson Myatt
Linda Ziets-Segura

Linda Ziets-Segura and Mila Mulready, both sophomores, earned their second All-ACC Academic honors. Ziets-Segura is pursuing her degree in Exercise and Health Sciences and Mulready is studying marketing management. 

Two freshmen also earned All-ACC Academic honors. Castillo is an accounting and information systems manager, and Myatt is pursuing a degree in Business. 

Nominees were required to have at least a 3.0 grade point average in the previous semester as well as a 3.0 cumulative grade point average throughout their academic career. The student-athletes were also required to compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests during the season.
