BLACKSBURG – Kristen Skiera and the Virginia Tech lacrosse team have announced the signing of two young women this summer: Ave Menna from Liberty and Kendall Wilson from Campbell.

Menna, who played for three seasons at Liberty, played in 50 games and made 31 starts. She owns 276 draw controls for her career and has also caused 25 turnovers, grabbed 14 ground balls and notched two assists.
In the 2026 season, she started in 11 of 16 games and ranked fourth in the ASUN conference is draw controls at 5.56 per game.
Her sophomore season, the Marietta, Georgia native recorded 174 draws, the second-highest tally in Liberty’s program history. Menna’s 276 total draws also rank second.
Menna has earned the CUSA Commissioner’s Academic Medal twice and was named to the ASUN All-Conference Second Team in 2025.

Wilson, who was an All-CAA Second Team honoree in 2026 started all 17 games on defense. She ranked 16th in D1 with 2.41 caused turnovers per game. On the season she recorded 41 caused turnovers, 30 ground balls and 42 draw controls.
During her freshman season, she was a CAA All-Rookie Team selection after playing in 15 games, securing 30 ground balls and causing 16 turnovers.
