Kylie Aldridge is statistically one hardest player to strike out in the ACC, with just five strikeouts in 157 at-bats. She earned All-ACC Second Team honors, hitting .369 with 29 extra base hits. She has launched a career-high 17 doubles this season, putting her one shy of tying the single-season record. Aldridge hit her tenth home run of the year against Duke in the ACC Tournament, helping seal the deal in the Hokies’ 5-0 semifinal win. This is her second career All-Region honor as she was a Third Team honoree in 2025.

Bree Carrico has proven herself as one of the top freshmen in the country this season. The ACC Freshmen of the Year has a 1.63 ERA with 14 wins. Carrico leads the ACC in ERA and sits fourth in the conference in strikeouts with 121. With most of her work coming in relief, she sits atop the Hokies’ single-season record book with 20 relief appearances and second in saves with five. Carrico has held opponents to a .189 batting average this season. She was named an NFCA DI National Freshmen of the Year Top Ten Finalist.

It has been a career year for the Hokies veteran, Rachel Castine. Castine is hitting .347 with 47 RBIs and 15 home runs. She earned her first All-ACC honors in 2026, being named to the Second Team. Castine recorded two multi-home run games this season, one against Penn State, where her second was the go-ahead home run in a 7-6 win, and one against NC State, as her second of the day walked it off for an 11-3 run-rule win. Her .769 slugging percentage currently ranks fifth for a single season in program history. This is the first NFCA All-Region honor for Castine.

Michelle Chatfield has been integral to the Hokies' lineup this season, posting a .383 hitting percentage and .989 fielding percentage at first base. The junior has hit 14 home runs this season, helping her climb to fourth on the career record list (48), including a first-inning bomb against then-No. 12 Duke in the Hokies’ 5-0 win in the ACC Semifinals.

She earned NFCA National Player of the Week and ACC Player of the Week honors after her stellar weekend against North Carolina. Chatfield broke the program record for nine RBIs in a single game in Tech’s 14-5 win (April 25), totaling four home runs and a .750 hitting percentage for the series. This marks back-to-back First Team All-Region selections for Chatfield and the third honor of her career.

Jordan Lynch is putting together one of the best sophomore campaigns in Virginia Tech history. Through 56 games, she is hitting .432, a number that currently ties her for second in the Hokies’ single-season record book. The First Team All-ACC selection has hit 18 doubles this season, tying the single-season record for the second straight year. Along with her 18 doubles, she has 18 home runs and 53 RBIs.

Lynch was named the ACC Player of the Week for the first time in her career after a dominant performance against Boston College. During that weekend, Lynch hit .583, driving in a team-high 10 RBIs, including three home runs. This is the first NFCA All-Region honor of Lynch’s career.

In her first season with the Hokies, Addison Foster has made an immediate impact as she earned All-ACC Second Team honors. Batting in the lead-off spot, Foster is currently hitting .423 with 42 RBIs. She has hit 18 doubles this season, tying the single-season record. Foster leads the Hokies’ starters in on-base percentage at .495, as well as leading the Hokies in batting average (.444) and on-base percentage (.538) in ACC play. She has also posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in center field for the Hokies in 56 starts.

Nora Abromavage is tied for the team lead in home runs with 18. Hitting .350 overall and .371 in conference play, the sophomore earned All-ACC Second Team honors. Abromavage hit two home runs in Tech’s series win against North Carolina, including the walk-off home run in the Hokies’ 6-5 win over the Tar Heels (April 24). She also has a team-leading 60 RBIs, placing her fourth in the single-season record book, along with a .460 on-base percentage.

Emma Mazzarone earned All-ACC Second Team honors following back-to-back ACC Pitcher of the Week honors in March. She leads the Hokies in wins with 16 in 30 appearances, along with nine complete games. Mazzarone has a career-best 2.91 ERA with 168 strikeouts this season, holding opponents to a .180 batting average.
