Gamretkaia, Uslu named to All-ACC Doubles Third Team

The senior pair becomes the first ACC postseason honorees since 2022-23.

CARY, N.C. – Following a stellar 2025-26 campaign, Virginia Tech’s Arina Gamretkaia and Özlem Uslu were named to the women’s tennis All-ACC Doubles Third Team on Thursday, April 23. 

The duo finished their senior campaigns with two doubles wins at the ACC Championship, totaling 13 wins on the season. 

The two seniors found themselves ranked to begin the month of March, starting at No. 51 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll. They rose to as high as No. 44 and currently sit at No. 52. 

The pairing had two ranked wins on the season, including a top-five win over No. 4 Melodie Collard and Vivian Yang of Virginia on February 18. 

Gamretkaia and Uslu become Tech’s first postseason conference honorees since Uslu made All-ACC Second Team her freshman year. They are also the first doubles pair in program history to earn ACC postseason honors.
