Athens, Ga. — Nabil Tezkratt, Elijah Mosley, and Zoey McFadyen ended the Spec Towns Invite with a bang for Virginia Tech, setting new 400m marks in the program's all-time list.
The men's 400m saw Tezkratt and Mosley place first and second, respectively, with both sprinters recording season-bests.
Tezkratt's time of 46.06 landed him sixth all-time in program history, his first entry on the outdoor top-ten list.
Mosley jumped up from eighth to seventh in Hokie history with a 46.18 effort.
The freshman McFadyen ran a personal-best 54.32, placing her ninth in VT history for the women's 400m.
The men's 4x100 squad of Calvin Meyer, Nabil Tezkratt, Elijah Mosley, and Joseph Rozynski debuted with a 40.52, finishing second.
At the Oklahoma Throws Series World Invite, Katrin Brzyszkowska continued to improve after setting a new season-best shot put mark of 16.84m (55 feet 3 inches). Her season-best would also place her sixth among a series of professional athletes.
