SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Virginia Tech fell to No. 14 Syracuse on Friday evening, their second consecutive ranked loss.
Lauren Render dished in the Hokies’ first goal of the night off of the assist from New York native Mia Pozzi.
From then, the Orange controlled the game, limiting Tech to four total shots and one goal by Maggie Flanagan in the second and third quarters.
Flanagan added one more goal to the Hokies’ tally in the final 38 seconds of play.
Malie Follet had a career high 12 saves in goal, her third game with ten or more saves on the season.
