Hokie ClubATLANTA– The NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships came to a close Saturday night, with the Hokies finishing 11th as a team. The finish was marked by three First Team All-American honors, 19 Honorable Mention All-Americans honors and five school records.
Brendan Whitfield had an outstanding performance as he posted an individual school record in the 200 free (1:31.49), and was part of three relay school records. His performance earned him First Team All-American honors in the 50 free (18.66) and 100 free (41.22), and Honorable Mention All-American honors in the 200 free (1:31.49).
Eli Martin had a standout performance as well, logging First Team All-American honors for his 200 breast swim (1:52.04).
