Hokie ClubRALEIGH, N.C. – Tech fell to No. 21 NC State, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon.
The Hokies fought hard in doubles play but were unable to secure the early point. The duo of Blake Hilsen and Eyal Shumilov trailed 4-5 against the 21st-ranked pair of Martin Borisiouk and Jules Leroux when their match was left unfinished.
In singles competition, Tech could not regain momentum, dropping three straight matches to seal the result for NC State.
