BLACKSBURG – With the start of Virginia Tech baseball’s 2026 campaign just days away, fans can look forward to even more ways to experience English Field’s always-electric gameday atmosphere. The 2026 theme days and promotions slate features season-long favorites like Bingo at the Ballpark, Sunday Funday and Anthem Buddies, along with a lineup of can’t-miss single-game and series promotions. 

From St. Patrick’s Day and Olympics-themed weekends to $1 popcorn and $2 hot dogs, this season’s English Field experience has something for everyone. View the full slate of promotions.

March 20-22 vs. Duke: Military Appreciation Weekend 

  • Friday: Military Appreciation Night 
  • Saturday: Hat Pins Giveaway 
  • Sunday: Sunday Funday 

March 27-29 vs. Stanford: Super Sluggers Weekend 

  • Friday: Power Up at the Park 
  • Saturday: Mini Sluggers Day 
  • Sunday: Sunday Funday 

April 17-19 vs. Pitt: Olympics Weekend & Hokie Hi: Weekend At Home 

  • Friday: Opening Ceremonies Night 
  • Saturday: Road to Gold Day 
  • Sunday: Podium Day & Sunday Funday 

April 24-26 vs. NC State: Art in the Park Weekend 

  • Friday: Tie-Dye Friday 
  • Saturday: Senior Photos Day 
  • Sunday: Sunday Funday 

May 14-16 vs. Clemson: Rounding Home Weekend 

  • Thursday: Class of 2026 Night 
  • Friday: Fan Appreciation Day 
  • Saturday: Senior Day and Sunday Funday 
  • Bingo at the Ballpark: At every midweek game, fans can pick up a bingo card at the Promotions Table for a chance to win a great Hokies prize. Limit one card per person. 
  • Sunday Fundays: Sundays (Saturdays if Thurs.-Sat. series): Kids Run the Bases post-game **weather permitting. Virginia Tech baseball trading card sets will be given away on ACC Sundays starting starting on March 2vs. Duke. There are four different sets of Virginia Tech Baseball trading cards for fans to collect throughout the season.  
  • Anthem Buddies: Want to be on the field with the Hokies? Bring your little league teams to the field, and stand with the Hokies during pregame during the National Anthem! Email Cassie Walton (wcassie@vt.edu) for more information about our Anthem Buddies.

For the 2026 season, Hokie fans have the option of pledging a donation for strikeouts ($1 each), home runs ($3 each), and wins ($10 each), in addition to select postseason achievements. Pledge Per is one of the best ways to support Virginia Tech baseball directly. Make your pledge today. 

All regular season baseball games are played at English Field (260 Duck Pond Drive). Non-conference games are free to the public. All ACC games require a ticket to enter the park. Please visit Hokiesports.com/baseball-tickets to purchase your ticket. Promotions and in-venue elements begin 90 minutes prior to game time and seating is general admission for all regular season home games.  

The nearest parking lot to English Field available to fans is the Duck Pond Drive Lot. Fans parking in these lots Monday through Friday, between 7 AM and 10 PM, must heed campus parking signage and policies as well as pay to park using the university's ParkMobile platform. More information on ParkMobile can be found here, and more information about parking on campus can be found at parking.vt.edu. 

Concessions are sold at every home baseball game around the concourse of English Field. All concession sales at baseball games are cashless, requiring a debit or credit card for purchase. Apple Pay and Google Pay may also be used. Fans who do not have access to a debit or credit card should consider buying a prepaid card at Kroger in advance of the game. Alcohol sales at English Field will end at the end of the 7th inning of the last game of the day.  

The Hokie Shop is your one-stop shop for Virginia Tech merchandise. They accept cash and card payments at home baseball games. Get gameday ready with trending styles from Hokie Sports Shop’s collection of baseball gear. 

Virginia Tech's clear bag policy remains in place for English Field. This policy helps provide a safer environment for spectators. Approved bags are limited to: 

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12'' x 6'' x 12'' 
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
