Bohlke leads Hokies as both squads earn USTFCCCA All-Academic honors

Both the men's and women's squads have earned a spot on the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.

NEW ORLEANS Katie Bohlke was named a 2025 USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete, while both the Virginia Tech women’s and men’s track and field squads earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors.

Bohlke, a sophomore majoring in human nutrition and exercise and health science, is maintaining a 3.59 cumulative GPA.

The women’s squad led Virginia Tech programs academically last semester, posting a 3.76 semester GPA and a 3.57 cumulative GPA. The men recorded the second-highest semester GPA in program history with a 3.41 in the fall and hold a 3.18 cumulative GPA.

To qualify for individual All-Academic honors, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top 25 or top 10 percent at NCAA regional championships, or earn All-America honors at the NCAA Championships.

To qualify for All-Academic Team distinction, teams must post a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
