Mark your calendars for April 11-13 and join fellow Tech fans in Blacksburg for Hokie Hi: Weekend at Home, as four Virginia Tech teams will be in action in Blacksburg.
There will be several events across those three days, including Virginia Tech football's spring game, presented by PMSI, and the 3.2-mile Run in Remembrance.
Tech football's spring game will kick off at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 12. Tickets are on sale now, starting at $10 for general admission and $25 for club seating. Student tickets are complimentary. Parking in Lots 1-5 is $25. Click here for more details.
On campus, the 3.2-mile Run in Remembrance will begin with a moment of silence at 9 a.m. Saturday morning to honor and remember the vibrant lives of the 32 students and faculty who were tragically taken from us in 2007. The 3.2-mile event loops around the Blacksburg campus and ends at the April 16 Memorial.
Registration is open for this year's 3.2-mile Run in Remembrance.
The first day of Hokie Hi: Weekend at Home sees both baseball and softball begin their three-game series Friday night at 6 p.m. Baseball faces Florida State at English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park and softball takes on Notre Dame at Tech Softball Park.
On Saturday, lacrosse will get things started at noon against Syracuse at Thompson Field. Lane Stadium gates will open at 1:30 p.m. in advance of the spring game. Softball will play its second game against Notre Dame in the three-game series, beginning at 2 p.m., and baseball will face Florida State at 3 p.m.
While Hokie Village won’t be hosting pregame activities, Virginia Tech Athletics is excited to bring the spirit to other areas. Pregame events will now be held at the baseball, lacrosse and softball venues.
Fans interested in upgrading their experience at the spring game can purchase Maroon & Orange Memories, featuring a videoboard message and pregame photo with the HokieBird.
Baseball is back in action on Sunday at 1 p.m. against Florida State in the series finale, while softball closes it out against Notre Dame at 6 p.m.
