BLACKSBURG, Va. — The Virginia Tech cross-country teams wrapped up their home schedule Friday at the Hokie Open, highlighted by Declan Decambre’s first win of the season and several career-best performances at the Buford Meredith Cross Country Course.
Women’s 4K
Lydia Mikhin and Sidney Nolan represented the Hokies and each earned top-five finishes. Mikhin placed second with a time of 13:29.0, followed by Nolan in fifth at 14:51. They were the only freshmen to finish in the top five.
Men’s 6K
Delcambre recorded his first win of the season with a career-best time of 17:39.7. Roan Kelly followed in second with a career-best 17:53.2, and Viktor Idhammar placed third in 18:03.4, his top finish of the season.

The Hokies will travel to Earlysville, Virginia, to compete at Panorama Farms in the NCAA Southeast Regional. The women’s 6K is scheduled for 10 a.m. ET, followed by the men’s 10K at 11 a.m. ET.
