Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG – This holiday season the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at Virginia Tech is once again partnering with the Boys & Girls Club to purchase gifts for over 200 children in our community through the Adopt-A-Family initiative. Their goal is to raise $6,000 by December 5th to purchase these presents for them! They will also throw parties at the participating schools (Eastern Montgomery High, Eastern Montgomery Elementary, Shawsville Middle and Christiansburg Middle School to pass out the gifts, celebrate the holiday season and the student's hard work.
Donations will be accepted through December 5th, and you can donate at this link and donations of all denominations can be made via credit or debit card, PayPal, Venmo and Cash App Pay.
SAAC will be able to purchase gifts on the student’s holiday wish list. Items in the past have included: art sets, basketballs, Legos, Amazon gift cards and more.
