WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Virginia Tech women's golf team finished 10th out of 18 teams at the Landfall Tradition, which concluded Sunday at the Country Club of Landfall (par 72, 6,178 yards).
The Hokies had rounds of 295, 298, and 296 to close out the fall slate at 25-over 889. The University of North Carolina secured the team title at 7-under 857 (288-284-285).
Emily Mathews led the Hokies with a 6-over 222 (71-76-75) to tie for 36th. Valentine Delon tied for 42nd with 7-over 223 (75-74-74).
Veronika Kedroňová of Kent State topped the player leaderboard with 13-under 203 (69-65-69).
The Hokies are back in action Feb. 1-3 at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate, which will be contested at Hammock Creek Golf Club in Palm City, Fla.
