CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Atlantic Coast Conference revealed the full 2025-26 men's basketball schedule Tuesday afternoon, with Virginia Tech opening its league slate at Cassell Coliseum on either Dec. 30 or Dec. 31 against Virginia for the first of two meetings in the Commonwealth Clash.

The Hokies will play host to five of their nine home league games on a Saturday, including a meeting with ACC champion Duke, who just competed in the Final Four for the 18th time in program history.

With the adjustment in ACC men's hoops to an 18-game schedule, the Hokies will play two home-and-home series, against Virginia and Wake Forest. Notably, Pitt does not appear on the slate for 2025-26. Tech’s home schedule also features Stanford and Cal for the first time at Cassell, as well as Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Duke, Florida State and Boston College.

Tech tips off its previously announced 13-game nonconference slate on Monday, Nov. 3 vs. Charleston Southern. Tickets to nonconference games are on sale now.

The Hokies' conference opener vs. Virginia marks the sixth straight season they will open ACC play at home. The 2026 T. Rowe Price ACC Men's Basketball Tournament will be held March 10-14 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.

Mike Young enters his seventh season at the helm of the Hokies, who feature four returners who started most Tech’s contests a season ago and 10 newcomers.

Tech’s entire 18-game slate can be found below. Game dates will be finalized following television selections.
